Tamyra has spent her career as an entrepreneur, business owner, self-employment consultant and business development professional.

Starting in the franchise industry in 1986, she spent the next 30 years educating and advising individuals seeking to fulfill their dreams of business ownership through franchising. Initially working for franchisors expanding their concepts both domestically and internationally, Tamyra opened her franchise consulting practice in 2004. This realized her dream of working more closely with her clients and making a difference in their lives by matching them with franchise opportunities that met her client’s personal, financial and professional goals and objectives.

Like many entrepreneurs, Tamyra discovered an opportunity that perfectly fit her skill sets and desire to consult and help others in their businesses. In September 2015, Tamyra opened Watchdog Warrior (formerly Intelligent Selection Services), a full-service background screening provider for pre-employment and tenancy serving businesses nationwide. An affiliate of Background Screeners of America™ a premier national provider of on-line background screenings with customizable search packages, Tamyra assists her client companies with all of their screening needs. She prides herself on excellent customer service and building strong relationships.

Always a small business advocate, and after researching the “best of the best” offerings, Watchdog Warrior added legal and identity theft protection and small business consulting, all designed to help small businesses grow and prosper. The company now offers a comprehensive suite of small business services including business consultation, software applications, marketing solutions and online learning tools. Tamyra splits her time between Castle Rock, Colorado and Washington State, where she owns a 40-acre farm in the Walla Walla Wine Valley. She enjoys the mountains, outdoor sports, the theater and volunteering. Tamyra enjoys making positive change in the communities she lives in, currently volunteering on committees with Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement. Her passion is helping homeless animals through educational and fundraising activities. She is active in animal rescue and adoption efforts in both CO and WA.
